The 5th and 6th graders competed in the annual Conservation Olympics at Forest Glen Nature Preserve on Friday, May 8th. They've been studying and working hard since Spring Break! They learned about our environment, natural resources, and Vermilion County plants and animals. In addition to the facts, they had to learn over 80 vocabulary words!
We are SO PROUD -- Schlarman Academy placed 2nd overall and earned the Sportsmanship Award (that's 3 years in a row!) at Conservation Olympics today!!! Students did an amazing job competing and showing true Hilltopper values. Way to go!
