In 1974, a group of committed business people created The Schlarman High School Foundation as a separate 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation designed with the purpose of aiding Schlarman High School and its students. In 2011 at the creation of Schlarman Academy, including grades pre-school through high school, the Foundation became Schlarman Foundation, Inc. with the purpose of aiding Schlarman Academy and its students. A group of dedicated Board members is actively involved in the oversight and investment of all donations. In November of 2017, a Director of Development for the Foundation was hired to work with the Board as a non-voting member of the Board. The Board list is included on this web site. Contact us:

Everyone has the ability to have impact in our children's lives by investing in the Foundation. The Foundation accepts memorial and honor donations, stocks, bonds, insurance policies, farm land, retirement fund donations, scholarships, Teacher Grants, DACC Tuition Assistance, Motsett Society memberships, Heritage Roll of Honor memberships (estate gifts), and donations for special projects such as the Greenhouse new building and South Campus renovations that have been undertaken in the past year. The financial and volunteer donations that made these two exciting new growth and development opportunities are listed here. Please forgive, and inform us to correct any possible errors or omissions, which we sincerely regret.

Other generous estate gifts, scholarships, memorials and Motsett Society gifts (annual unrestricted gifts of $1,000, $2,500 or $5,000) and all others that are given to the Foundation will be recognized here at this site in the near future to ensure accuracy and completeness. Since its inception, the Foundation has gifted well over $4.5 million to the school via student scholarships, operating expenses, infrastructure improvements, and much more. All of this phenomenal support of the school has been made possible by faithful donors of time, talent, and/or treasure, and excellent stewardship by the Foundation Board over the years.

On behalf of the Foundation Board, we say “Thank you” to the many individuals who have taken the opportunity to be a part of the Schlarman Foundation. You have allowed the Foundation to grow and thrive. Every size and type of gift is appreciated and helps our students flourish. We recognize those individuals who gave so selflessly for these special two projects listed below that immediately and profoundly impact the students' lives. They shine a phenomenal light on how each of us can make difference by using our time, talent and/or treasure to touch students’ lives. We invite you to catch the Topper Spirit and find your way to “gift” yourself! God bless you and God Bless Schlarman Academy and Schlarman Foundation for years to come. In Christo Vivimus.
