Welcome to the page for Schlarman Academy's North Campus. The North Campus houses grades 7-12. Schlarman Academy seeks to offer both quality Catholic education and Christian formation. Schlarman Academy is fully accredited by AdvancEd and is a member of the National Catholic Education Association and the Illinois High School Association.
We offer a student-to-teacher ratio of 10:1 which provides more opportunities for student-teacher interaction and individual attention to each student. Our staff is comprised of professional and experienced teachers, including specialists in computers, music, art, and physical education.
Schlarman Academy North Campus provides 11 clubs and organizations plus 15 varsity sports are offered to students. Over 95% of high school students are involved in at least 1 co-curricular activity. Schlarman Academy has a mandatory-random drug testing program for extra-curricular activities.
Project Lead the Way Gateway to Technology is taught to all students in 7th & 8th grade. Project Lead the Way (PLTW) prepares students to be the most innovative and productive leaders in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Through an engaging, hands-on curriculum, PLTW encourages the development of problem-solving skills, critical thinking, creative and innovative reasoning and a love for learning. STEM education programs give students a brighter future by providing them with a foundation and proven path to college and career success.
Our mandatory 8th hour program allows students to receive needed instruction beyond the school day. Our outstanding college-prep curriculum includes both Honors and Advanced Placement courses. Dual enrollment classes, which enable our students to earn both high school and tuition-free college credit, are available through Danville Area Community College.
