Letter for our Corporate Sponsors
Greetings and a prosperous 2018!
As we look back, Schlarman Academy had a fantastic start to the 2017-2018 school year. With our increased enrollment, we continue to challenge our students to excel to the fullest while providing a safe and structured learning environment. At the same time, Schlarman Academy prepares them for life.
Our students strive on their successes and continue to do so after high school. Schlarman Academy just graduated a student in the Class of 2017 who received both her high school diploma and Associate’s degree in the same weekend. Two former Schlarman Academy students (Class of 2015) will graduate in May 2018. Another Class of 2015 student will graduate in December 2018.
These student successes are able to happen with our community, business and educational partnerships. Schlarman Academy has partnered with Danville Area Community College (DACC) for several years in helping our students receive dual enrollment credits. This means certain classes are offered through DACC in their classroom or online to our students. Students can receive college credit and high school credit simultaneously. The more college credits you obtain while in high school can possibly make your college experience shorter and more affordable.
Thyssenkrupp of Danville is another partnership that has helped our students. Schlarman Academy students have interned for part of the day at Thyssenkrupp. In turn, a Class of 2017 graduate has received a part-time job with this company.
We credit our partnerships with our students’ success and would like you to be a part of it as well. Though, not all our partnerships can bring students into the workplace or help educate them, monetary partnerships can help foster academics, technology, programs, tuition assistance, scholarships, just to name a few. We want to partner with you in order for our students to succeed.
We have provided our Corporate Sponsorship brochure as a link on the right side of this page for your review. Sponsorship opportunities are listed with many to fit your budget. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Schlarman Academy Advancement Director Christina Dietzen at 217-442-1184.
Schlarman Academy looks forward to partnering with you for our students’ success.
